Twenty One Pilots Extend Bandito Tour, Add 18 Fall Dates

Twenty One Pilots are staying in cruise control. They have extended their ongoing Bandito Tour once again, adding 18 dates to their schedule this fall.

The Grammy-winning duo revealed the tour news via social media accounts, writing that they “weren’t ready to bring the Bandito Tour to a close just yet.” TOP will launch the Bandito Tour’s third North American leg in Tampa on October 9 and wrap a month later in Tulsa. Along the way they’ll make stops in major markets like San Diego, Fort Worth, Cincinnati and Las Vegas, as well as return to Philadelphia, Atlanta and Los Angeles for a second time around.

The new stretch of dates puts the Bandito Tour over 100 total shows in only a year. They first launched the world tour last October following the release of their fifth album Trench. The pair – consisting of Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph – performed across three continents before performing what would have been the tour’s final show in their hometown of Columbus, Ohio last month.

In between their hectic touring schedule, Twenty One Pilots have also been a staple on this year’s music festival circuit. They headlined Lollapalooza’s three South American editions before lighting up Boston Calling this spring. Dun and Joseph will also appear at Chicago’s Lollapalooza and San Francisco’s Outside Lands Festival in August and perform several European festivals before jumping back into the Bandito Tour in the fall.
