Slayer have revealed the final dates on their farewell world tour, The Final Campaign. The heavy metal veterans booked an additional 18 gigs on the trek that will keep them on the road through the remainder of the year.
The final tour leg will kick off November 2 in Asheville, North Carolina and extend four weeks before wrapping with a gig in Los Angeles on November 30. Along the way, Slayer will make stops in Raleigh, Louisville, Omaha and Las Vegas. They are also billed to headline Madison Square Garden for one last time on November 9. Special guests Primus, Ministry, and Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals will all be joining the jaunt in support.
The thrash metal outfit first launched the world tour last year, which has since consisted of over 100 shows throughout the U.S. and abroad. They previously hit the road in 2015 on their Repentless Tour in support of their twelfth album of the same name.
Slayer will precede their final stretch of shows with several festival appearances this summer and early fall. Fans can catch them performing at Heavy Montreal later this month, plus Chicago’s Riot Fest and Exit 111 Festival in September and October, respectively.
