Music megastar Pink just gave a “beautiful” gift to her fans. The singer is extending her ongoing Beautiful Trauma tour into next year with over three dozen new North American dates, Live Nation announced today.
A total of 37 shows are on tap for Pink next year. The new tour leg will get underway March 1, 2019 in Fort Lauderdale and stretch to May 21, where Pink will give an epic tour-concluding show at Madison Square Garden in New York. She’ll visit major cities like Tampa, Milwaukee, Portland, Dallas and Denver along the way. Canadian tour stops are also scheduled in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.
In addition, two make-up shows are also featured in the 2019 itinerary. Citing an ongoing battle with the flu, Pink was forced to reschedule concerts in Detroit and Montreal originally set to take place this past March. She will honor those ticket holders on her new tour leg as well as perform an additional night in both cities.
Pink is currently in the midst of wrapping up the tour’s first North American leg. She will perform in various cities this month before giving a final performance June 1 in Los Angeles. After a month break, she’ll resume her travels in July for a brief stretch of shows in Australia.
It’s been a whirlwind few months for the “What About Us” singer. She released her seventh studio album Beautiful Trauma in October 2017, which has since achieved Platinum sales certification and topped the charts in several countries. She later wowed millions of viewers when she gave a stirring rendition of the National Anthem before Super Bowl LII in February, despite battling the flu. Her Beautiful Trauma tour kicked off this March to rave reviews, many of which highlight the singer’s stunning showmanship and captivating aerial performances.
She most recently appeared on the star-studded Elton John tribute album Revamp, taking on John’s hit “Bennie and the Jets” with Logic and the Rocket Man himself. Pink also graced the cover of People magazine’s annual Beautiful Issue, alongside daughter Willow, 6, and son Jameson, 16 months.
