Pearl Jam Plot Spring Gigaton Tour In Support of New LP

Get ready to jam. Seattle-based rockers Pearl Jam are heading all over the map on their Gigaton Tour, launching this spring.

The tour marks Pearl Jam’s first proper outing since 2018 and comes in support of their 11th album Gigaton, due out March 27. They’ll precede the anticipated release with a string of Canadian shows, starting March 18 in Toronto. From there, the Grammy winners will trot to Baltimore, Oklahoma City, Denver, New York and Nashville. They’ll close out the 16-date trek on the West Coast with two-night stints in both LA and Oakland.

There is no word yet regarding whether more North American shows will be added following the initial run. However, Pearl Jam is likely booked throughout Europe during the summer, having already announced gigs in London, Amsterdam, and Vienna. They are also slated to headline Lollapalooza Paris alongside Billie Eilish.

While they only performed sporadic shows throughout North America in 2018, Eddie Vedder and company proved to still have their knack. The group filled iconic stadiums like Fenway Park and Wrigley Field, but it was their hometown shows that really impressed. Their pair of Seattle shows were among the year’s top-selling concerts.
