If the Super Bowl winner could be determined according to a team’s overall ticket sales, Kansas City would already have a victory parade lined up. The Chiefs were the overwhelming leader during the regular season. But now en route to the Lombardi Trophy, Chiefs playoff games are claiming a piece of the pie.
KC’s rollercoaster divisional home game – which saw them stage a remarkable comeback against Houston after trailing 24-0 in the first quarter – stands as the best-selling NFL game so far this season, according to Ticket Club data. It bested the Chiefs October 27 home bout against fellow playoff contender Green Bay for the top spot. Super Bowl LIV, which could very well feature Patrick Mahomes and company come this weekend, follows as the third-best-selling NFL event.
Should the heavily-favored Chiefs overcome the Titans to reach the Super Bowl, an impressive 9 of this season’s 10 top-sellers will feature Kansas City. They nabbed six spots for regular season home games, as well as their two playoff games. Dallas was able to eek in the Top 10 for a Week 5 meeting against the Packers.

Chiefs playoff games are expected to make a big impact going forward, especially as they prepare to take on Tennessee for the AFC Championship.
