Journey, The Pretenders Plot Massive Co-Headlining Tour

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Journey and The Pretenders are joining forces for a new tour. The best-selling bands will unite next year for a sizable trek stretching through the summer.

It all kicks off May 15 in Ridgefield, Washington and extends nearly four months before wrapping in upstate New York. They’ll play over 60 cities along the way, including Lexington, Charlotte, Houston, Salt Lake City and Chicago. In addition, Canadian gigs are scheduled in Vancouver, Toronto and Quebec City.

The groups’ union marks their first time sharing the stage on tour. However, neither are strangers to teaming up with fellow rock icons. Journey has most recently toured with Def Leppard and are coming off their successful residency in Las Vegas. The Pretenders last hit the road in 2016 opposite Stevie Nicks.
