The rock icons behind Rage Against The Machine will take over this year’s Firefly Music Festival, followed by headlining performances from pop stars Billie Eilish and Halsey.
The festival will run from June 18 to 21 in The Woodlands of Denver, Delaware and feature performances from A-list stars like Blink-182, Cage the Elephant, The Struts, Khalid, Diplo, and Chvrches. Maggie Rogers, Grouplove, Lil Tecca, Tove Lo, and Cold War Kids will also take the stage, along with Cash Cash and Neon Trees, among others.
This will be among RATM’s first performances since returning to the music scene late last year. In addition to a small string of one-off performances in March, the rockers will have a heavy presence on the festival circuit. They will precede Firefly Festival with headlining sets at Coachella and Boston Calling.
In addition to the music, festivalgoers can look forward to a “SPARK” throughout the event, which is known as “extra magic.” Throughout the festival grounds, fans can lounge at The Nook, catch a DJ set at the North Hub Beach Club, try a new drink at the Head Brewery, or participate in the Thicket Silent Disco. Organizers say that SPARKS are “special every year, but you can expect spots to lounge, instruments to play, gathering places and yoga moments.”
