Drake announces massive ‘Aubrey and the Three Amigos’ Tour

Rap powerhouse Drake has unveiled dates for an expansive North American tour, Live Nation announced today. He will be joined by special guests Migos for the massive Aubrey and the Three Amigos Tour.

The tour will commence July 26 in Salt Lake City and extend four months before wrapping up with a two-night finale in Atlanta November 16 and 17. It will cover a total of 41 dates across 26 cities.

Due to overwhelming popularity, Drake will perform multiple nights in a majority of the cities on the itinerary, including Chicago, Houston, Las Vegas and Washington, DC among others. Four-night stints in both New York and Los Angeles are planned and split between two different venues in each city. Drake will close out August with two nights headlining Madison Square Garden followed by another two nights at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. On the West Coast, he’ll give Los Angeles locals a pair of shows each at the Staples Center and The Forum in mid-October. Canadian stops on the tour include Vancouver, Montreal, Edmonton and Drake’s native Toronto.

The Aubrey and the Three Amigos Tour comes in support of Drake’s forthcoming new album Scorpion, due out next month. It follows his widely acclaimed 2017 mixtape More Life and 2016 LP Views, both of which earned the rapper a collection of hit singles and multi-Platinum sales certification. Scorpion‘s lead single “Nice For What” has already topped charts in several countries, including the U.S. and Canada, following its April 6 release.

Tour opener and successful hip-hop trio Migos have also been heating up the charts on their own. Their third studio album, Culture II, shot to number one upon its release earlier this year. The album featured plenty of notable guest spots from Travis Scott and Gucci Mane to Big Sean and Ty Dolla $ign. The trio also collaborated with Drake on the album for “Walk It Talk It.”
