The 2020 BottleRock Festival lineup is officially here and chock full of music giants. Leading the way are an impressive trio of headliners: Stevie Nicks, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Dave Matthews Band.
And the mega-watt star power doesn’t end there. Miley Cyrus, Zedd, Khalid, Anderson .Paak and Janelle Monae will also take the stage May 22-24. Grammy-winning collaborators Maren Morris and Brandi Carlile are on the docket, as well as The Avett Brothers, Maggie Rogers, Jimmy Eat World and Blondie. Matt Nathanson, Tegan and Sara, and America’s Got Talent winner Grace Vanderwaal will also appear.
BottleRock – now in its eighth year at the Napa Valley Expo – is no stranger to welcoming a slew of acts. However, its become especially known for attracting both modern and legacy rock acts. Timeless rockers The Cure, Tom Petty and Robert Plant have performed the California festival, as well as current hitmakers The Killers, Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons and Kings of Leon. The Red Hot Chili Peppers previously headlined BottleRock in 2016 alongside indie-pop outfit Florence + The Machine and Stevie Wonder.
Each of the 2020 headliners will bring their own flair and hype to the three-day bash, with Nicks coming off her solo induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last spring. Perennial road warriors DMB will perhaps use BottleRock as a starting point for yet another summer tour. And the Chili Peppers will mark the return of former guitarist John Frusciante for a run of festival appearances, which also includes Alabama’s Hangout Festival and Boston Calling.
