Alabama’s gulf coast will get a serious dose of star power next spring. The 2020 Hangout Festival announced its jam-packed lineup including Billie Eilish, Post Malone and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
A diverse mix of artists comprise the bill, including Lana Del Rey, Cage the Elephant, Marshmello, Kane Brown, Juice Wrld and T-Pain. Rising stars like Megan Thee Stallion, Chelsea Cutler and Eilish’s older brother Finneas are among the dozens of performers slated to take the stage during the three-day bash. The festival’s daily performance schedule was not released with the lineup, but is expected to be announced at a later date.
Many 2020 Hangout Festival performers have a hectic schedule in the cards by the time the annual gathering invades Alabama’s Gulf Shores May 15-17. Post Malone will have recently wrapped his wildly successful Runaway Tour after extending the trek into March 2020, whereas Eilish will be in the midst of her global Where Do We Go Tour. Fellow headliner Red Hot Chili Peppers are said to be prepping a new album, which they could likely support not with a tour but notable festival gigs. The rockers were previously confirmed as a headliner of Boston Calling alongside the Foo Fighters.
Hangout Festival will celebrate ten years since its inception this spring. Over the years, the bash has welcomed a variety of musical superstars, including Paul Simon, Twenty One Pilots, Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Ellie Goulding and Kendrick Lamar. The 2019 edition featured electric performances by Travis Scott, Cardi B, Vampire Weekend, Khalid, The Lumineers, Bebe Rexha and more.
