The 2019 Lollapalooza lineup is officially here and features Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, Twenty One Pilots and The Strokes in the headlining spots. Other top artists on the bill include Flume, The Chainsmokers, Meek Mill, Tame Impala, Hozier, J Balvin, Lil Wayne, Tenacious D and Kacey Musgraves.
The full Lollapalooza lineup announcement had plenty of hype after a portion of the lineup was revealed. On Tuesday, the festival released a video in partnership with a local pet shelter that revealed Tame Impala, Janelle Monae, Lil Wayne, Slash, Tenacious D, J Balvin, Rosalia and handful of other artists will perform in Chicago this summer. Watch the full video below.
Many of the artists comprising the Lollapalooza lineup will be heavy-hitters on this year’s festival circuit. Grande, Childish Gambino and Tame Impala will kick off the season as headliners at Coachella next month. In June, Bonnaroo will play host to Musgraves, Hozier, and Childish Gambino, while The Strokes will headline New York’s Governors Ball lineup. Weeks after Lollapalooza wraps, festival goers can also catch Monae performing at Woodstock’s 50th Anniversary Festival.
In addition to their stacked festival schedules, many of this year’s Lollapalooza performers also have tours in progress. Grande recently kicked off her Sweetener World Tour, while Twenty One Pilots are wrapping their Bandito Tour after multiple legs. The Chainsmokers will use their performance slot to hype up their World War Joy tour, which is set to launch in September, and Hozier can also be caught on the road.
Lollapalooza will take place August 1-4 at Chicago’s Grant Park. Tickets are available in either single or four-day passes. Browse Lollapalooza tickets by session here: Four-Day Pass ~ Thursday Pass ~ Friday Pass ~ Saturday Pass ~ Sunday Pass
