Ariana Grande Adds New Dates to Sweetener Tour Schedule

Ariana Grande’s Sweetener Tour just got even sweeter. The pop star has added a number of dates to the tour’s itinerary, Live Nation announced today.

Nine additional shows have been added to the Sweetener Tour’s North American leg, which kicks off in March. Among them are gigs in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Brooklyn and New York City, all of which will host Grande for two consecutive nights. She will also revisit early tour stops in DC, Boston, Philadelphia and Toronto as part of the final stretch of dates.

A total of 51 dates comprise the North American leg of the tour, while international shows are yet to be announced. Special guests Normani and Social House are joining the road in support.

Hype for the Sweetener Tour has only increased in the past few weeks. Shortly after revealing the initial tour dates, Grande dropped her smash anthem “Thank U, Next.” The highly-anticipated track came on the heels of the singer’s split with fiancé Pete Davidson and addresses their public romance, as well as Grande’s past relationships with Big Sean and the late Mac Miller.

The song’s music video – an homage to romantic comedies like Legally Blonde, Mean Girls and Bring It On – has kept Grande shining in the spotlight after it dropped last week.
