After years of performing sold-out residency shows in Las Vegas, Celine Dion is hitting the road. The powerhouse vocalist has revealed dates for her massive Courage World Tour and announced a new album is on the way this fall.<\/p>\n

The exciting news came during an intimate concert and Q&A session in Los Angeles, which was\u00a0recorded<\/a> for Facebook Live. Dion acknowledged the nearing end of her long-running Vegas residency show as a new beginning. “I think it’s time for a change, time to hit the road. So many people came to see us [in Las Vegas] and now we really all think it’s time for us to go and see them,” she told the audience.<\/p>\n

The Courage World Tour will launch September 18 in Quebec City and stretch through April 2020. Throughout its seven-month span, Dion will make stops in 53 cities, including St. Louis, Boston, Dallas and Miami. It marks Celine Dion’s first run U.S. tour dates in over a decade. Her last American outing came during the 2008 Taking Chances World Tour, which became one of the highest-grossing tours of all time.<\/p>\n

Dion has not needed to travel across the U.S. extensively given the tremendous success of her Las Vegas residencies. She headlined the marquee of Caesars Palace from 2003-2007 for her show A New Day<\/em>. In 2011, Dion returned to Caesars for Celine<\/em>, which will fold in June<\/a> after eight years and over 400 performances.<\/p>\n

As for new music, the songstress was coy in sharing details about her upcoming album, which is due around November. She did, however, tell fans just how much lead single “Courage” has meant to her in the wake of overcoming hardships, most notably the 2016 deaths of her husband and brother. “We all go through a lot of things in life,” she said. “I think I went through a lot. Life has given me the tools to find courage.”<\/p>\n
