The multi-talented actor will headline major arenas on his &#8220;The Man. The Music. The Show<em>.&#8221;<\/em> Tour, featuring the music from <em>The Greatest Showman, Les Miserables<\/em> and more.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is a dream come true for me,&#8221; Jackman told the hosts of the\u00a0<em>Today<\/em>\u00a0<em>Show<\/em> on Thursday, where he broke the exciting news. &#8220;I&#8217;ve done it in Australia but now I&#8217;m going to go around the world.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The impressive tour will begin in May with a 12-date leg around Europe and the U.K. Jackman will launch his string of North American shows in Houston on June 18, and visit an additional 19 cities over a month&#8217;s span. Among the itinerary are stops in Philadelphia, San Diego, Tampa, Toronto, Chicago and Denver, as well as two-night stints at Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RealHughJackman?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RealHughJackman<\/a> makes an exclusive announcement on TODAY \u2014 he\u2019s going on a huge arena tour around the world! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/xVj4acsYvw\">pic.twitter.com\/xVj4acsYvw<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; TODAY (@TODAYshow) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TODAYshow\/status\/1068132931703631872?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 29, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Far from being a one-man show, Jackman revealed that he will be taking the stage each night alongside a 26-piece orchestra and some two dozen singers\/dancers. The Tony winner also added that fans can expect a robust setlist filled with show tunes from various Broadway productions, including <em>A Boy From Oz<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Les Miserables<\/em>, plus the record-breaking <em>The Greatest Showman<\/em> soundtrack.<\/p>\n<p>Jackman, 50, has been at the center of a musical mania since <em>The Greatest Showman<\/em> was released last December. The Aussie actor scored a Golden Globe nomination for his starring role as P.T. Barnum and the film &#8211; also starring Michelle Williams, Zac Efron and Zendaya &#8211; enjoyed tremendous success at the box office, raking in over $430 million worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>However, its soundtrack (penned by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketclub.com\/shows\/dear-evan-hansen-tickets\"><em>Dear Evan Hansen<\/em><\/a> songwriting duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul), has truly been the factor that&#8217;s kept <em>The Greatest Showman<\/em>&#8216;s popularity soaring. It topped the Billboard 200 chart and was a fixture in the Top 10 for over 30 weeks, making it one of only seven soundtracks to do.
