2019 was a banner year in entertainment to close out a decade. But before ringing in 2020, take an in-depth look back at all the shows and events that dominated the industry. Keep reading for a snapshot of the 2019 Year in Review. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between the utter dominance of the NFL – thanks to Super Bowl LII and the Kansas City Chiefs – and Major League Baseball’s steady presence in top markets, sports tickets remained hot this year. The 2019 Super Bowl and AFC Championship game were the two best-sellers across all events, though the Rolling Stones held their own with some of the year’s biggest concerts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Broadway, Hamilton<\/em> sits tight on its throne as the undisputed top-selling show for another year. The Tony-winning juggernaut did however face stiff competition from a handful of new shows. Mainly, Aaron Sorkin’s To Kill A Mockingbird<\/em>, Temptations bio musical Ain’t Too Proud<\/em> and the sinfully delightful Best Musical winner Hadestown<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other entertainment, Jeff Dunham and Jerry Seinfeld were customers’ favorite funnymen. Monster Jam, JoJo Siwa, Disney on Ice and Paw Patrol drew the most traffic of any children’s and family-aimed event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
