Trevor Noah Plots 2019 “Loud and Clear” Arena Tour

The Daily Show host Trevor Noah is ready to step out from behind the news desk and take center stage – on a brand new comedy tour! His Loud and Clear Tour will kick off in early 2019 and run for nearly 30 dates throughout the year.

The jaunt will begin January 11 with a pair of shows in Toronto and extend through the fall with a concluding show in Boston November 15, though a majority of the tour takes place before June. A total of 28 shows are on the itinerary, including stops in Detroit, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, and Charleston.

Given Noah’s Daily Show hosting duties and filming schedule, the tour consists of only Friday and Saturday night shows with the exception of two Sunday performances in Tampa and Vancouver.

The Loud and Clear Tour also marks a career milestone for the South African comic, as he’ll headline major arenas for the first time. Among them are Chicago’s United Center, Raleigh’s PNC Arena and Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore.

Noah’s persona as a witty and sarcastic political commentator on The Daily Show translates into his stand-up routine, as he delves into today’s current events while also heavily drawing on his childhood in South Africa to bring big laughs to audiences.
