Due to overwhelming demand, Travis Scott is extending his Astroworld: Wish You Were Here Tour through next spring, Live Nation announced this week.
The tour will get underway on January 25 in Vancouver and run two months before wrapping in Charlotte on March 24. Over two dozen cities make up the new itinerary, including stops in St. Louis, San Diego, New York, Atlanta, and Las Vegas. In addition to the opening tour date, Canadian stops also include gigs in Montreal and Toronto. A trio of shows (in Milwaukee, Hartford and Tampa) serve as makeup dates from the tour’s first leg after being postponed this fall.
Travis Scott launched the Astroworld: Wish You Were Here Tour last month, with the first leg consisting of 23 dates. Among them was Scott’s own curated Astroworld Festival, which brought Rae Sremmurd, Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Young Thug and more to Scott’s hometown of Houston for a one-day bash.
Following his latest set of tour dates, the rapper will have a strong presence on the 2019 music festival circuit. He was recently announced as a headliner at Alabama’s Hangout Festival and Delaware’s Firefly Festival.
The Astroworld: Wish You Were Here Tour comes in support of Travis Scott’s third studio album Astroworld. The LP landed Scott a trio of Grammy nominations: Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance & Best Rap Song for No. 1 single “Sicko Mode.”
