Baseball fans look forward to every September, when the post-season is looming and months of play finally comes down to the wire. Whether or not they are playoff bound, nearly all teams in the league are celebrating their 2018 season while already looking ahead to next year – and their free fan giveaways prove just that. Check out all the September MLB giveaways fans can expect in the weeks to come.
Several teams across the league are gearing up for next spring by handing out projected 2019 game schedules for some of their final giveaways of this season. The Indians, Astros, Cardinals, Padres, Mets, and Royals will all gift fans early 2019 schedules this month on either magnets or posters. In addition to the new schedules, certain squads are also giving away official team photos of the current roster as the season nears its close.
Labor Day weekend is chock-full of giveaways ranging from traditional items like caps and bobbleheads, to portable coolers and jerseys.
Seasonal items that are sure to be a hit are specialty Oktoberfest steins that are being handed out by both the Nationals (September 21) and Pirates (September 22). More kid-friendly options include a Build-A-Bear Cardinals teddy bear, Reds wall decals, Nationals pajama set and Pirates replica jerseys.
