Things are looking bright for classical crossover giant Sarah Brightman. The singer is gearing up for the release of her 15th studio album Hymn and subsequent world tour, Live Nation announced today.
Following the November 9 release of Hymn, Brightman’s 15th studio effort and first since 2013, the acclaimed soprano soloist will embark on a massive global tour. A staggering 125 shows across five continents are on the agenda for the decorated singer/actress, though dates have only been released for North and South American performances for now. She’ll commence the trek November 24 with a stretch of Brazilian shows before visiting Peru, Uruguay, Argentina, Puerto Rico and Mexico to keep her busy through January.
Brightman will pick up right where she left off and start a two-month North American run in Baltimore on January 30. From there, she’ll headline an additional 30 cities, including Dallas, Boston, Denver, Seattle, Phoenix and Orlando. Early stops in Montreal and Toronto plus a concluding gig in Vancouver mark the lone Canadian dates on the itinerary.
The tour will have plenty of sparkle thanks to Brightman’s partnership with world renowned crystal brand Swarovski. Brightman is said to don a rotating closet of ornate, custom-made costumes and tiaras featuring Swarovski’s precious stones during each performance. Fans in attendance can also take home their own dazzling piece with the tour’s official merchandise line incorporating Swarovski crystals as a result of the lucrative partnership.
