Carlos Santana has plenty of performances up his sleeve. The Grammy winner announced his Global Consciousness tour today (Nov. 13) along with a batch of 2019 dates for his Las Vegas residency show.
The tour, which commemorates the 20th anniversary of Carlos Santana’s album Supernatural and 50th anniversary of his breakthrough performance at Woodstock, will kick off March 17 at the Vive Latino Festival in Mexico City. Santana will perform two additional dates in Mexico before launching a stretch of U.S. shows in April, including stops in Nashville and Saint Augustine. A total of ten cities are currently on the itinerary, primarily spanning the Southern region.
In addition to the tour, Santana will continue to be a regular headliner in Sin City in 2019. The legendary guitarist is extending his popular residency show at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay. He announced two upcoming legs of the multi-year residency, which will sandwich the Global Consciousness tour with performances running from January into early February and then resuming in May after the completion of his tour. More shows are expected to be announced at a later date.
