Latin rockers Santana are teaming up with Earth, Wind and Fire for an extensive summer trek, dubbed the Miraculous Supernatural Tour.
The outing will launch June 19 in San Diego and extend just over two months and nearly three dozen shows. Notable stops on the itinerary include Denver, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Atlanta and Los Angeles. However, perhaps the most anticipated tour stop is at New York’s Bethel Performing Arts Center, where Santana famously played Woodstock in 1969. They returned to the site last summer to mark the 50th anniversary of the landmark festival and are booked once more to entertain local crowds.
Santana will continue to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their best-selling album Supernatural. They first launched the Supernatural Now Tour last year to commemorate the record’s enduring success two decades on and remain constant fixtures in Las Vegas with their residency at House of Blues.
Meanwhile, Earth, Wind and Fire are coming off a career high after receiving the Kennedy Center Honors late last year. They made history as the first R&B group to earn the honor and were celebrated at the ceremony with a jubilant performance by John Legend, Ne-Yo, Cynthia Erivo, Nick Jonas and more.
