The Rolling Stones Plot ‘No Filter’ Stadium Tour

The Rolling Stones will invade U.S. stadiums once more on their No Filter tour, they announced today.

The legendary rockers will kick off the trek April 20 in Miami and run for eight weeks before wrapping up in Chicago on June 25. A total of 13 cities make up the itinerary, including Seattle, Houston, Philadelphia and Denver.

A video graphic posted to the band’s official Twitter account November 15 teased the announcement, particularly the possibility of New York-area shows, as their famed logo rose above the Statue of the Liberty.

This marks the first proper U.S. tour for the Stones in four years, although they have played the occasional festival and stand-alone show since. Now deep into their 70s, Mick Jagger and company have scaled back their performance schedule drastically, performing similar-sized tours in Europe the past two years.

Staples of any Stones stadium show of course includes their giant hits like “Satisfaction” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” although their latest album, 2016’s Blue & Lonesome, brings in a ton of cover songs into the mix. They won a Grammy for the record, which celebrates the pure blues sound of Little Walter, Howlin’ Wolf, Magic Sam and more.

They may face growing pressure over the sunset of their career, but the band is reportedly working on new music and will certainly prove their enduring legacy as a touring artist next spring.
