Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band have rolled out a series of tour dates for next spring. The former Beatle and his longtime backing band will hit the road on a 15-city trek beginning in May.
The tour kicks off May 29 in Ontario, where Starr will perform a two-night stint at Casino Rama as the lone Canadian gigs of the tour. From there, he’ll head down the Eastern seaboard. Starr will headline a mix of venues in Boston, Philadelphia, and St. Augustine, among others. The itinerary includes a three-night stint at New York’s historic Beacon Theatre, plus two nights in Baltimore and Atlanta. Starr will wrap the month-long tour in Clearwater on June 28.
The exciting announcement concludes a busy year for the 79-year-old musician. He released his 20th solo album What’s My Name last month. 2019 also marked the 30th anniversary of the formation of his All Starr Band. Its lineup has shifted quite a bit over the years, though Starr has welcomed plenty of fellow music legends to share the stage with him. Joe Walsh, Peter Frampton, Richard Marx and more have all taken part in the project.
The current lineup of the All Starr Band features Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Gregg Rolie, Gregg Bissonette, Warren Ham, and Hamish Stuart.
