Grammy-winning Christian artist Lauren Daigle is hitting the road next year on an extensive world tour. Daigle will headline arenas for the first time in her career on the 44-date tour, beginning in January.
The global trek kicks off January 18 with a week of shows across Australia and New Zealand. Daigle will then launch the massive North American leg with a February 20 show in Pensacola, Florida. It will extend roughly four months before wrapping in her hometown of Lafayette, Louisiana on July 18. Major cities on the itinerary include Toronto, Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, Houston, and New York (where Daigle will play Madison Square Garden for the first time in her career). Special guests Johnnyswim will serve as supporting act throughout.
Daigle has been on a whirlwind high since releasing her third album Look Up Child last year. It marked her third consecutive Christian chart-topping record and climbed as high as No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. The LP spawned hit single “You Say,” which earned the 28-year-old a Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Song. Look Up Child also gave Daigle a win in the Contemporary Christian Album category after scoring a nomination for her debut effort How Can It Be.
Before the tour gets underway, Daigle has booked an appearance at Austin City Limits music festival next month. She will be among dozens of musical superstars taking the stage at Zilker Park, including Cardi B, Guns N’ Roses, Childish Gambino and more.
