Lady Antebellum are the latest country powerhouse to land a Las Vegas residency. The Grammy-winning trio will take over the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms Casino Resort for their show, Our Kind of Vegas, they announced today.
A total of 15 performance dates are on the agenda for Lady A, beginning on February 8. They will return to the stage in May and August, though there is no word on other future dates.
The trio – comprised of Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood – continue to support their latest No. 1 album Heart Break and have promised that their new venture will feature intimate, stripped-down performances that put a spotlight on some of the songwriters that penned their best-known hits.
Lady Antebellum’s presence at the Palms’ Pearl Concert Theater brings some musical diversity to the venue, which has never housed a country act in a residency before. Its current tenants are rockers Billy Idol and Blink-182, while fellow country acts like Florida Georgia Line, Shania Twain and Reba, Brooks & Dunn have occupied Caesars Palace Colosseum.
The official announcement caps off a busy year for Lady Antebellum. They spent the summer on the road with Darius Rucker on their co-headlining Summer Plays On Tour, their first since Hillary Scott welcomed twins in January. Most recently, the group split with Capitol Nashville and signed a new recording contract with Big Machine Records, joining the likes of Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Reba McEntire and Taylor Swift.
