To celebrate the 2019 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, promoter Goldenvoice has unveiled a series of LA-based concerts in support. Throughout the month of April, Southern California fans can check out some of Coachella’s participating artists in a more intimate setting.
A total of 35 shows are scheduled for venues throughout the greater Los Angeles region from April 6-21. While the calendar of concerts spans Coachella’s two-weekend run, a majority of shows will take place during and leading up to the festivals final weekend April 19-21.
Various 2019 Coachella performers will headline their own gigs, including notable appearances from Pusha T, Playboi Carti, The 1975, Zedd, CHVRCHES, Ella Mai and Blood Orange. Coachella headliner Tame Impala is also a part of the excitement. The Aussie rockers booked an intimate gig at Pomona’s 2000-seat Fox Theater on April 11, just two days before they’ll take on the Coachella stage. However, if you’re hoping to catch fellow Coachella headliners Childish Gambino or Ariana Grande, a ticket into the festival is the only option.
2019 marks the sixth annual year Goldenvoice has supported Indio’s major festival with a collection of coinciding sideshows.
