KISS Unveil Farewell End of the Road Tour Dates

Legendary rock band KISS are hitting the road on one final tour of their career. Their farewell End of the Road Tour will bring the band to cities across North America in early 2019, promoter Live Nation announced today.

The tour will kick off January 31st in Vancouver, and extend nearly three months before wrapping the first leg in Birmingham on April 13th, 2019. KISS’ second leg of the tour will commence in Fort Lauderdale on August 6 and run through September 16. A total of 64 cities make up the extensive itinerary, including major markets like Dallas, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, Minneapolis and San Diego. Aside from the opening date in Vancouver, Canadian gigs are also scheduled in Montreal, Toronto, Quebec City, and Ottawa.

KISS revealed they were plotting a farewell tour on their appearance on America’s Got Talent in September, though they kept fans waiting on official dates until now. “This is going to be our last tour. It will be the most explosive, biggest show we’ve ever done,” they told host Tyra Banks following their performance on Talent. “People who love us, come to see us. If you’ve never seen us, this is the time. This will be the show.”

The glam rockers previously called it quits in 2000, with their Farewell tour spanning over a year and ultimately being the final tour to feature the original lineup of Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley. The quartet reunited in 2014 to celebrate the band’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, although they did not perform.

Their newest farewell venture comes at the end of a 45-year career filled with over 100 million record sales and an unmatched performance style.
