John Legend Unveils ‘Get Lifted 20th Anniversary’ World Tour

John Legend is celebrating two decades of his groundbreaking debut album, Get Lifted, with a world tour spanning more than 40 cities across North America, the U.K., and Europe.

Kicking off on May 27 in Glasgow, Scotland, the tour will take fans on a journey through Legend’s acclaimed discography, with a special focus on the album that first catapulted him into superstardom.

The Get Lifted 20th Anniversary World Tour will feature some of the most iconic venues across the globe, including The O2 in London, Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Accor Arena in Paris, Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, and Barclays Center in New York. The tour is set to conclude on December 9 in Oakland, California. While these are the first confirmed dates, additional stops are expected to be announced in the coming months.

Released on December 28, 2004—coinciding with Legend’s 26th birthday—Get Lifted was a career-defining record that introduced his signature blend of R&B, neo-soul, hip-hop, and pop. The album was a critical and commercial success, peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and claiming the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums ranking. Featuring tracks like “Ordinary People,” “So High,” and “Number One,” Get Lifted went on to earn eight Grammy nominations and secured Legend three wins, including Best New Artist and Best R&B Album.

On tour, Legend will be backed by a full band, delivering a mix of Get Lifted deep cuts, reimagined versions of classic songs, and a selection of his biggest hits from across his celebrated career.
