Indie rockers Florence + the Machine are gearing up for a new fall tour. They will travel to 23 cities across North America in the coming months on their global High as Hope Tour, Live Nation announced today.
Fans can get their dose of the band beginning August 5, when they will appear at Montreal’s Osheaga Festival. From there, they will make various other festival appearances before beginning their headlining trek September 10 at Seattle’s KeyArena. The tour will stretch six weeks and hit major markets like San Diego, Philadelphia, Houston, Chicago and New York before wrapping up in Minneapolis October 20. An October 16 gig in Toronto marks the only Canadian show on the High as Hope Tour, though the band will perform festivals in both Montreal and Vancouver.
A rotating list of artists are slated to join the tour in support, including St. Vincent, Grizzly Bear, Wet, Kamasi Washington, Billie Eilish, Beth Ditto and Perfume Genius.
The tour comes in support of the band’s fourth studio album High as Hope, due out June 29. The ten-track LP follows 2015’s How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, which shot to the top of the charts in several countries, including the U.S. and the group’s native U.K.
Since exploding onto the music scene with their 2009 debut album Lungs, Florence Welch and company have scored multi-Platinum certified hits like “Dog Days Are Over” and “Shake It Out” and performed at some of the world’s most famed venues.
