Chris Young Reveals Raised On Country Tour Dates

Nashville singer-songwriter Chris Young is celebrating his roots with his Raised On Country Tour, which was announced today. Young will visit over two dozen U.S. cities on the four-month excursion.

The trek will kick off in Alpharetta, Georgia on May 16 and extend through the summer months before wrapping in West Palm Beach, Florida on September 14. A total of 30 cities make up the itinerary, including Charlotte, Boston, Las Vegas, San Diego, Phoenix, and Indianapolis. Joining the tour in support are Chris Janson, Jimmie Allen, LOCASH and Dylan Scott.

Fans hoping to see Young on the road are in for a treat, as the singer revealed tour plans had been underway for a while. “I haven’t done a complete overhaul in two years, and this is a complete overhaul,” he told The Tennessean. “We started working in September of last year on all the staging and all the production elements. We went from the ground up and revamped everything. It’s a completely new tour.”

The Raised On Country Tour comes in support of Young’s eighth studio album. It is slated to be released later this year, though further details remain unknown. He dropped the tour’s namesake lead single to country radio last month, marking his follow-up to 2017’s Losing Sleep.

It was previously announced that Young was among the eight artists comprising the 2019 Country Megaticket lineup. Those who purchase the Country Megaticket (available for sale at over 30 venues), will be granted general admission into Young’s show at participating venues. Other artists appearing on the Megaticket bill include Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line.
