July is shaping up to be a packed month for music festival fans, with major events bringing country, rock, pop, indie, folk, reggae and alternative acts to stages across North America. From new festivals making their debut to established multi-day events returning with star-studded lineups, fans still have plenty of chances to make last-minute summer plans.

Minnesota Country Club Festival 2026: The Red Clay Strays and Treaty Oak Revival Headline New St. Paul Event
The inaugural Minnesota Country Club Festival will take over Harriet Island Regional Park in St. Paul, Minnesota, from July 10 to 11. Set along the Mississippi River, the new two-day festival will feature more than 15 artists performing across two stages.
The Red Clay Strays and Treaty Oak Revival are set to headline the debut edition, giving country and Americana fans a new summer destination in the Midwest. The lineup also includes Jessie Murph, Trampled by Turtles, Charley Crockett, Stephen Wilson Jr., The Beach Boys, Charles Wesley Godwin, Jesse Welles, Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners, Chance Peña and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country.
Festival organizers have also confirmed a no-overlap schedule, allowing attendees the chance to catch every performance throughout the weekend.
Levitate Festival 2026: Alanis Morissette, Caamp and Ziggy Marley Lead Marshfield Lineup
Levitate Music & Arts Festival will return to the Marshfield Fairgrounds in Marshfield, Massachusetts, on July 18 and 19 for its 14th edition. The two-day festival will be headlined by Alanis Morissette, Caamp and Ziggy Marley.
Known for blending music, art and coastal New England festival culture, Levitate’s 2026 lineup features a wide-ranging mix of rock, reggae, roots and jam acts. Additional performers include Sammy Rae & The Friends, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Larkin Poe, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Pepper, The Movement, The Elovaters, Royel Otis and Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country.
Other artists set to appear include Jammy Buffet, Bebe Stockwell, Hans Williams and Surfer Girl, giving fans a full weekend of live music at one of Massachusetts’ signature summer festival stops.
Minnesota Yacht Club Festival 2026: The Strokes, The Lumineers and Matchbox Twenty Return to Harriet Island
Minnesota Yacht Club Festival will return to Harriet Island Regional Park in St. Paul from July 17 to 19. The 2026 edition will mark the festival’s third year and will feature headlining performances from The Strokes, The Lumineers and Matchbox Twenty.
More than 25 artists are scheduled to perform across two stages throughout the weekend. The lineup also includes The Black Keys, Cage The Elephant and Lord Huron, along with Mt. Joy, Atmosphere, Geese, The All-American Rejects, Lucy Dacus, The Fray, Passion Pit and Dashboard Confessional.
With a mix of alternative rock, indie, pop-rock and nostalgic favorites, Minnesota Yacht Club remains one of July’s major festival draws in the Midwest.
Under The Big Sky Fest 2026: Chris Stapleton, Zach Top and Cody Jinks Head to Whitefish
Under The Big Sky Festival will return to Big Mountain Ranch in Whitefish, Montana, from July 17 to 19. Set in one of the country’s most scenic festival locations, the 2026 event will be headlined by Chris Stapleton, Zach Top and Cody Jinks.
The lineup brings together more than 40 artists across outlaw country, folk, bluegrass, indie rock and Montana’s local music scene. Ryan Bingham and Texas Gentlemen, Marcus King Band, Charles Wesley Godwin, Stephen Wilson Jr., Kaitlin Butts, Hogslop String Band, Of Monsters and Men, Max McNown, Greensky Bluegrass and Old Crow Medicine Show are all set to perform.
Additional acts include Rattlesnake Milk, Ocie Elliott, Cole Chaney, Gabriella Rose and The Brudi Brothers, making Under The Big Sky a standout July festival for country and roots music fans.
Warped Tour Long Beach 2026: Sublime Joins Rock-Heavy California Lineup
Warped Tour will return to Long Beach, California, in July 2026 with a lineup packed with rock, punk, emo and alternative favorites. Sublime, the reunited Long Beach rockers, have officially joined the bill for the California stop.
The 2026 Long Beach lineup features a mix of Warped Tour veterans and newer names, led by Jimmy Eat World, Papa Roach, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Thrice, Sleeping With Sirens, Simple Plan, All Time Low, Dance Gavin Dance, The Devil Wears Prada and We Came as Romans.
For fans of pop-punk, post-hardcore and alternative rock, Warped Tour Long Beach is one of the month’s most notable festival events.
OSHEAGA 2026: Lorde, Twenty One Pilots and Tate McRae Headline Montreal Festival
OSHEAGA will return to Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal from July 31 to August 2 with a lineup led by Twenty One Pilots, Tate McRae and Lorde. The three-day festival will once again bring a broad mix of pop, rock, indie, electronic, hip-hop and R&B acts to one of Canada’s biggest festival stages.
Twenty One Pilots will headline Friday, with additional performances from The xx, Geese, The Neighbourhood, Kehlani, Wolf Alice, Jim Legxacy, Wet Leg and Brutalismus 3000.
Saturday’s lineup will feature Tate McRae, Empire of the Sun, Turnstile, Mt. Joy, Sombr, Wolf Parade, Franz Ferdinand and Finn Wolfhard. Lorde will close out the festival on Sunday, following sets from Major Lazer, Subtronics, Zara Larsson, Gunna, Trixie Mattel, Of Monsters and Men and Horsegiirl.
Lollapalooza Chicago 2026: Charli XCX, Lorde and JENNIE Lead Grant Park Festival
Lollapalooza will return to Grant Park in Chicago beginning July 30 and continuing through August 2. The 2026 lineup will be led by Charli XCX, Lorde and JENNIE of BLACKPINK.
The four-day festival will also feature top-billed performances from Tate McRae, Olivia Dean, The Smashing Pumpkins and The xx. As one of the country’s most prominent city festivals, Lollapalooza will once again bring a wide-ranging bill to downtown Chicago.
Other notable artists set to perform include Lil Uzi Vert, Turnstile, The Neighbourhood, Yungblud, beabadoobee, Ethel Cain, Empire of the Sun and Major Lazer. Electronic and dance fans will also have plenty to catch, with The Chainsmokers, Disco Lines, Alison Wonderland and SIDEPIECE among the acts on the lineup.
