The historic Palace Theatre is set to welcome Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award-winner Ben Platt. This multi-talented artist is gearing up for a special three-week concert residency, featuring 18 performances with direction by the acclaimed Tony Award-winner Michael Arden.
Central to this residency is Ben Platt’s upcoming album, Honeymind, which was released on May 3. The residency, running from May 28 to June 15, will also showcase songs from his previous albums, Reverie and Sing to Me Instead.
Reflecting on this significant milestone, Platt shared his excitement, noting “it is far beyond my wildest imagination to play a residency of my own music in a house as storied as the Palace.”
“I feel blessed to be part of the theater community and to have the opportunity to perform as myself and from my own perspective on a Broadway stage is one of the greatest honors of my life,” Platt said.
Beyond the Residency: The Honeymind Tour
Following the conclusion of his residency, Ben Platt will embark on his North American “The Honeymind” tour. This tour, which coincides with the release of his album Honeymind on May 31, will see Platt performing across various cities, bringing his music to a wider audience, with Brandy Clark providing support on all dates.
Kicking-off on June 18 at Boston’s Boch Center Wang Theatre, the tour will make stops in cities including Providence, Philadelphia, Toronto, Highland Park, Columbus, Nashville, Atlanta, Austin, Denver, and San Diego, before concluding on July 27 in Seattle at Benaroya Hall.
