Songstress Janelle Monáe has unveiled dates for her upcoming Dirty Computer tour, Live Nation announced today.
Monáe will visit 27 North American cities on the trek, which begins June 11 in Seattle. It will run through early August with the concluding show set to take place at Atlanta’s Tabernacle on August 4. Major markets on the itinerary include Denver, San Diego, Cincinnati, Miami, Nashville, and Boston. In addition, Canadian stops in Vancouver and Toronto are also scheduled. Duo St. Beauty will join the tour in support. Monáe has hinted via Twitter that additional tour dates and cities will be announced at a later date, specifically her hometown of Kansas City.

The tour comes in support of Monáe’s highly anticipated new album Dirty Computer, out Friday. Fans will receive a digital copy of the album when they purchase a ticket for the Dirty Computer tour. The LP has already generated plenty of buzz thanks to lead singles “Make Me Feel,” “Django Jane” and “PYNK.” Each of the hits were accompanied by creative visuals which showcase the singer’s latest musical direction.
While her newest release comes five years after second album The Electric Lady, Monáe has kept busy and remained a spotlight staple. She recently flexed her acting muscles and appeared in the Academy Award winning films Hidden Figures and Moonlight. A return to music highlights where Monáe truly shines, however. Her sultry voice has earned her six Grammy nominations in her career.
Monáe will make an appearance at Milwaukee’s annual Summerfest in July, sandwiched in between tour dates in Chicago and Grand Rapids. She is also pegged to perform with the likes of Miguel and Tyler the Creator at Brooklyn’s Afropunk Festival after the tour wraps in August.
