Country music royalty is coming to Indio next spring. The official lineup for the 14th annual Stagecoach Music Festival was revealed today (Oct. 15) featuring some very big names. Headlining the 2020 Stagecoach lineup are Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood and Eric Church, while dozens more are slated to perform during the festival.
Thomas Rhett kicks things off on Friday, April 24 as the Day 1 headliner. Also taking the stage that day are Brett Young, Dustin Lynch, Morgan Wallen, RaeLynn and more. However, all eyes will be on Lil Nas X in his Stagecoach debut. The chart-topper will bring his “Old Town Road” country remix to Stagecoach alongside Billy Ray Cyrus after dominating music charts earlier this year.
Saturday’s schedule includes the likes of Marty Stuart, Jimmie Allen, Midland, LOCASH, ZZ Top, Tanya Tucker and Midland. Grammy-winning duo Dan + Shay will pause their massive arena tour to grace the stage as well. Underwood is set to take over the night portion as headliner. Finally, it all concludes Sunday with three-time headliner Eric Church. Alan Jackson, Jon Pardi, Bryan Adams, Chris Lane and more are also slated to appear.
All three headliners are coming off of banner years. Underwood, who welcomed second son Jacob in January, is in the final weeks of her global Cry Pretty Tour 360. Next month, she’ll return as host of the CMA Awards, where she’s nominated for Album, Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year. Church also earned an Entertainer of the Year nomination for proving his chops on his Double Down Tour. His authentic showmanship shone through every gig, where he eliminated an opening act and instead played two full sets to awestruck audiences. His LP Desperate Man is up against his fellow headliners for Album of the Year, where he is favored to win.
2019 also brought more life changes for Thomas Rhett. The “Remember You Young” singer heated up country charts with the May release his fourth album Center Point Road. He was a force on the road as well, spending much of the summer on his Very Hot Summer Tour. In July, the Georgia native announced he and wife Lauren were expecting their third daughter, making it a memorable year both professionally and personally.
The 2020 Stagecoach Festival is set to take place April 24-26 from Empire Polo Field in Indio, California. This past edition drew in record crowds to see headliners Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt and Jason Aldean.
