The 2019 NFL season may still be ten weeks away, but football faithfuls are ready to go and rapidly snatching up tickets for the hottest games this fall. NFL tickets have been a hot commodity in the secondary market since the 2019 NFL schedule was released in April. However, a few select teams have emerged as top sellers, mainly the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers.
According to preliminary sales data, the Packers and Cowboys combine for 14 of the Top 25 best-selling games this upcoming season. Green Bay takes the overall top spot for their October 27 meeting against the Chiefs in Kansas City, while the second-highest-earner belongs to the October 6 clash between both NFC squads in Dallas. Packers home games are also in the mix, with their Week 2 and 3 match-ups against the Vikings and Broncos, respectively, drawing buyers.
Dallas, proving once again why they are “America’s Team,” continue their hot streak as one of the league’s best-selling squads. Over half of the Cowboys 2019 schedule made up the early best-sellers list, including six home games. Among them are the aforementioned clash with the Packers, their Thanksgiving showdown versus the Bills and Week 3, 7 and 10 meetings with the Dolphins, Eagles and Vikings, respectively.
The Cowboys Week 1 debut against longtime rival Giants is also faring well in sales, but trails the September 5 kick-off between the Bears and Packers. However, it’s worth noting that the Cowboys have dominated Week 1 sales for seven of the last eight years, and may do so again come kick-off.
Reigning Super Bowl champs New England scored five best-sellers, including three in Foxborough. The Patriots home games in the mix – against the Steelers, Cowboys and Jets – follow an ongoing pricing trend surrounding Tom Brady and company. Their home games are currently going for the highest average price per ticket of all best-sellers at $500 and up. Gillette Stadium tickets have cost Pats fans more than any other home field, with Patriots ticket prices averaging $363 last season.

The Cowboys and Packers are dominating individual NFL game tickets. However, when it comes to season ticket holders, the Philadelphia Eagles are flying away to the top of the sales chart. Eagles season tickets have raked in nearly double the sales that the second-best-seller Cleveland Browns have pulled so far. Houston, Seattle and Pittsburgh rounded out the Top 5, though the Cowboys are hot on their heels at No. 6.
