The pair announced the collaboration, titled <em>Christmas Together<\/em>, via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GarthBrooks\/videos\/1164304916982273\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a>\u00a0live video, where they also revealed the album&#8217;s cozy cover photo.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was fun. It was an absolute joy to get to go with this woman into the studio and sing. [I] really, really enjoy this record and very proud of this record,&#8221; Brooks said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When you&#8217;re making an album yourself, it&#8217;s hard enough to find those songs that you like yourself. When you&#8217;re doing a duet album you double that because both of you have to love the songs equally,&#8221; Yearwood said of creating the album. &#8220;When it comes to Christmas, there&#8217;s so many traditional songs to choose from. I like to mix it up&#8230;Garth wrote some things for this record. So it&#8217;s a mix of things you know and things you&#8217;ve never heard before.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This will be the couple&#8217;s first joint album, though they have often collaborated on singles, including successful duets &#8220;Love Will Always Win&#8221; and &#8220;Squeeze Me In.&#8221; Yearwood has also joined her husband on the road this year to perform their hits in one of the best-selling concert tours of 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The pair is familiar with holiday records, as each has released their own festive albums as solo artists prior to their marriage in 2005. <em>Christmas Together<\/em> will be Brooks&#8217; fourth holiday album and Yearwood&#8217;s second.<\/p>\n<p>The record is set to release on Nov. 11, the same day Brooks&#8217; latest compilation box set, <em>The Ultimate Collection<\/em>, is released exclusively at Target.
