Little Big Town are hitting the road early next year in support of their forthcoming album Nightfall<\/em>. Their Nightfall Tour will see the vocal group give intimate performances at theaters around the country in a change-up from their typical arena outings. <\/p>\n

The trek gets underway January 16 at New York’s famed Carnegie Hall and stretches through May 2 with a concluding gig in Denver. Nearly two dozen markets make up the itinerary, including Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Seattle. Certain cities have multiple nights scheduled as well, bringing the tour’s total performance count to 34. Newcomer Caitlyn Smith will be opening on all dates.<\/p>\n

The upcoming tour marks a continuation of Little Big Town’s busy road schedule. They spent last summer performing with Miranda Lambert on their co-headlining Bandwagon Tour<\/a>, and saw their 18-month long Breakers Tour<\/a> come to a close earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Nightfall<\/em> is Little Big Town’s ninth studio album and first in three years. The LP, due out January 17, is also the first time the quartet – Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook, Kimberly Schlapman and Phillip Sweet – produced one of their records. It features the poignant lead single “The Daughters” and their most recent release “Over Drinking.” Earlier this year they team up with Thomas Rhett<\/a> on his rousing “Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time.”<\/p>\n

For those who can’t wait until 2020 to see the quartet, Little Big Town has select performances and festival appearances scheduled this fall. They will perform at the Allegan County Fair before headlining Louisville’s Hometown Rising Festival alongside Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan and Keith Urban. Their final gig before launching the Nightfall Tour comes in late November at Oklahoma’s Choctaw Casino & Resort.<\/p>\n
