Rock icons The Who aren’t ready to move on from their latest tour just yet. The band revealed four additional dates on the second North American leg of their Moving On Tour, slated to begin this fall. <\/p>\n

The fall jaunt was originally set to launch September 6 in St. Paul, Minnesota and wrap October 23 in Edmonton. However, it will now kick off September 1 at Madison Square Garden and conclude October 24 at the Hollywood Bowl, with a pair of shows in Toronto and San Francisco also added to the mix. A total of 21 dates make up the itinerary, including gigs in Boston, Houston, San Diego and Atlanta. Special guests Liam Gallagher, Moon VS. Sun, Reignwolf, Dead Horses and Peter Wolf will rotate as supporting acts.<\/p>\n

Members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend launched<\/a> their first leg of the Moving On Tour last month. They performed a dozen shows in top markets like Nashville, Chicago, Detroit and Philadelphia before wrapping for a brief hiatus.<\/p>\n

The tour not only comes in support of The Who’s forthcoming new album and first in 13 years, but also marks the 50th anniversary of their multi-Platinum record Tommy<\/em>. Unlike past tours, Daltrey and Townshend put a different spin on their show by incorporating full orchestras into each concert – a move that many questioned at first but the band insisted would work.<\/p>\n

“Just because it’s The Who with an orchestra, in no way will it comprise the way Pete and I deliver our music,” Daltrey said in a statement. “This will be full throttle Who with horns and bells on.”<\/p>\n
