Dozens of Nashville’s best and brightest are on the road once more for another round of touring. But which summer country concerts are the top performers when it comes to sales and demand for tickets? We analyzed sales data from nine artists’ tours and found some familiar favorites were leading the way.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Chris Stapleton<\/a> blows all other country acts out of the water as his two-year All American Road Show Tour<\/a>\u00a0raked in over $5.6 million in sales. The rugged Grammy winner will notch a total of 94 North American shows when the trek concludes later this fall. Stapleton is currently in the midst of his summer leg of shows, which will run through the end of August. He’ll resume the tour in October for one more month, hitting a variety of amphitheaters and arenas along the way.<\/p>\n

Kenny Chesney’s Trip Around the Sun Tour<\/a> proves to be equally popular, earning over $4.2 million in sales from only 41 shows. Chesney launched his stadium tour<\/a> in April and has a full schedule through the end of August. Fellow stadium performer Luke Bryan claimed the third-best-selling country tour with $2.22 million.<\/p>\n

Keith Urban<\/a> and Jason Aldean’s Graffiti U and High Noon tours have earned modest sales at $1.7 million and $1.38 million, respectively. Zac Brown Band’s Down the Rabbit Hole Live<\/a> outing is quickly closing in on $1 million, though that doesn’t include sales from their planned ballpark shows alongside The Eagles<\/a> this fall. Four major artists have teamed up for co-headlining tours that are generating slower sales than most, but expected to pick up. Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town’s Bandwagon Tour<\/a> pulled just over half a million in sales, as did Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker’s Summer Plays On Tour<\/a>. However, both treks don’t begin until mid-July, giving them plenty of time to boost their figures. Dierks Bentley’s Mountain High Tour<\/a> fared on the lower side, with $0.3 million.<\/p>\n

Scarce ticket sales do not necessarily equate to a lack of tour success. When factoring in components like venue, number of tour dates, and ticket prices, the sales figures take on a whole new meaning. Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney and Luke Bryan<\/a> garnered the highest average ticket prices, each landing over $120 apiece. With the latter two playing stadium gigs and Urban performing all the way through November, their higher sales figures line up. Chris Stapleton and Zac Brown Band were next up with their tickets averaging just over $100. The remaining four artists were not far behind with prices in in the $85-$100 range.<\/p>\n
