Legendary singer-songwriter James Taylor is giving fans across the country more chances to see him live this summer, as he has added 17 new stops to his tour.
Known for his soothing vocals and timeless folk hits, Taylor will embark on an extended run of performances that will now stretch into mid-September.
The second leg of his tour is set to begin on August 21 in Vienna, Virginia, with a trio of performances at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. From there, Taylor will hit major cities, including Boston, Richmond, and Atlanta, before concluding his journey on September 17 in Fort Worth, Texas.
As with his previous dates, he will be joined by his “All-Star Band” and Boston-based indie-folk trio Tiny Habits as his opening act.
Taylor’s career has been marked by a devoted fanbase and continued accolades. His 2020 memoir, “Break Shot”, provided a personal look at his life and career in an exclusive audio format. The following year, he released American Standard, his 19th studio album, which earned him a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album at the 63rd annual ceremony.
Most recently, he took the stage alongside country heavyweights Luke Combs, Eric Church, and Billy Strings at the Concert for Carolina benefit for Hurricane Helene relief efforts.
Fans looking to catch the “Fire and Rain” singer live can purchase their tickets through Ticket Club, where members never pay hidden service fees.
